The Glow Up Code
The People Behind The Platform

We built the thing
we needed.

Most of us spent years being the most capable person in rooms that were designed for someone else. At some point, we stopped waiting.

We built the thing we needed

How
this started.

We took the notes. We ran the meetings. We managed the calendars, the stakeholders, the diplomats, the founders, and the occasional CEO who couldn't find his own calendar invite. We worked in fintech in the Czech Republic, climate policy in the United Kingdom, e-commerce across Australia and New Zealand, software development and AI systems in Thailand, and recruitment across the United States. We showed up early, stayed late, and were almost always the last ones to be handed the tools that actually mattered.

At some point, across different countries and different industries, we all arrived at the same conclusion. The knowledge that creates real leverage — the AI tools, the income systems, the frameworks that make work actually work — was never organized for women like us. It existed. It was just scattered, gatekept, dressed up in jargon, and handed to other people first.

So we stopped waiting. We built the room ourselves. Then we wrote everything down so you don't have to start from scratch.

"We don't teach you to quit. We teach you to have a choice."

That is The Glow Up Code.

What we actually are

Five categories.
Covered well.

We are an editorial platform. We cover five things and we cover them well. Each one specific, honest, and written for women who already know the basics.

01 AI & Tools
The gap between women who understand AI and women who don't is closing fast.

Being on the wrong side of it is expensive. Tool reviews, tutorials, automation strategies, and practical guides — no jargon, no gatekeeping.

02 Digital Income
Building income not tied to your hours is a learnable skill.

Not a personality type. Freelancing, affiliate strategy, digital products, monetization. Practical, specific, no hype.

03 Travel & Lifestyle
Location independence is not a lifestyle trend.

It's a practical decision with tools, costs, and tradeoffs worth knowing before you book the flight. City guides, visas, nomad banking, remote strategy.

04 Love & Relationships
The emotional algorithm matters as much as the technical one.

Psychology, attachment, love, communication. Honest writing that doesn't treat smart women like they need to be handled.

05 Manga & Manhwa
We read widely and take our fiction seriously.

Anyone who thinks culture and intelligence are separate conversations has clearly never lost three days to a 400-chapter manhwa and emerged a changed person.

⚡ Operations & Strategy
The Operator

"Structure is her love language."

Deep background in executive support and global operations — calendars managed across hemispheres, discreet stakeholder coordination, financial ops for organizations across the US, UK, EU, and Asia. Has supported CEOs, founders, and the occasional diplomat. Calm when everything is on fire. Unsettlingly calm, actually. If it has a process, she has already improved it. If it doesn't have a process yet, she is already building one.

🎯 Talent & People
The Headhunter

"She knows if you're the right hire in about four minutes."

Spent years building hiring pipelines from individual contributors all the way to C-suite across tech, HR, and operations. She can scope a role, source the right candidates, run structured interviews, and close an offer without drama or delay. She is the reason we have such a sharp eye for people — and such a low tolerance for anyone who wastes the room's time. She does not suffer vague job descriptions quietly.

🤖 AI & Automation
The Builder

"If it can be automated, it already has been."

QA background on mobile and web apps — she knows how things break, which means she knows exactly how to make them not. Now she builds AI agents that write, publish, audit, and enrich data without manual input. Runs on curiosity, strong coffee, and an alarming number of open browser tabs. Considers a new model release a legitimate reason to cancel plans. Has never once described AI as scary.

✍️ Content & Editorial
The Storyteller

"She makes the complicated sound effortless."

Background in content strategy, SEO, and making sure the brand voice never wavers — no matter the platform, format, or deadline. She manages the editorial calendar, keeps the categories sharp, and is personally responsible for the fact that everything published here is actually worth reading. Holds a strong and extremely well-documented opinion that good writing is just good thinking with better clothes on. Has strong feelings about em dashes. We support her.

The things we actually believe

Not a pitch deck.
Real principles.

01
Efficiency is respect.

Wasting someone's time is one of the rudest things you can do. We automate the repetitive so we can spend real time on the things that actually require a human. Every tool we build and every article we publish is filtered through that standard. If it doesn't earn its place, it doesn't go out.

02
No fluff policy.

Every piece of content has to do something — teach, challenge, entertain genuinely, or shift how you see something. We would rather publish three excellent things than thirty adequate ones. The internet has enough content. We are not interested in adding to the noise.

03
Build, don't wait.

We are a team of people who got tired of waiting for someone to create the thing we needed and decided to create it ourselves. The platform, the pipelines, the newsletter, the AI workflows — all of it. Waiting for permission stopped being a strategy a long time ago.

04
Globally wired.

We have lived and worked across five countries on four continents. That background shapes how we think about audiences, context, and the fact that there is never one right answer — only the right answer for a specific person in a specific situation. We try very hard to write for that person.

We don't teach you to quit. We teach you to have a choice.

Off the clock. Still probably working.

Our natural habitat.

The honest version of who we are when we are not building things.

Artisan flat white at a Chiang Mai café
Café Hopping

Finding the best flat white in a new city is practically a team sport. Criteria: good WiFi, no background music, at least two power outlets. Bonus if nobody looks up when you open a laptop at 2pm on a Wednesday.

Work From Anywhere

Not a trend for us — just how we have always operated. The inbox does not care which country you are in. The work does not care either. We figured this out before it became a LinkedIn talking point.

Chiang Mai, Actually

The team is currently headquartered in Chiang Mai, Thailand. A city that either ruins you for everywhere else or simply becomes home. Often both. We have tested this theory across the Czech Republic, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Chiang Mai wins most days.

Deeply Into AI

New model releases are genuinely exciting events for us. We read the papers, test the tools before the hype peaks, and build with them before most people have figured out the interface. We find it fascinating. We probably always will.

Women in Tech — across Southeast Asia.

Helping women across Southeast Asia build confidence in technology, business, and the financial systems that make real freedom possible. Not a side project. Not a content pillar. The whole point of everything we do here.

Sharp intelligence. Zero noise.
